I am starting ProsperityHunt.com to help people make money online from home. Partially, I intend for this site to follow my own quest to make a full-time income from home.
My goal is to generate five thousand dollars per month from this website, and to help my readers do the same in their online business. Why 5k? Because, in most parts of the United States, $60,000 per year would be enough for most people with a family to quit their job, be fully self-employed, and have a reasonable standard of living. According to the Federal Reserve, the real median income was $51,939 in 2013, which means 60k would put you in the top half of income earners.
The main reason I am hunting for prosperity online is by necessity. I had to stop working full-time a few years ago due to some severe health problems that I still struggle with. I’m basically in a situation where I need to support a family, but I can’t work on a predictable schedule or a predictable number of hours. Most weeks I only have 10-20 hours where I can actually sit at a computer and concentrate. So much of my efforts will focus on finding things that are flexible and compatible with that lifestyle. However, since most people don’t have those limitations I will also be exploring other income streams that may be more profitable or workable for other people.
